Advanced Licensing API

This section describes the API functions used for performing advanced licensing operations.

Given below is the list of the API functions:

Function	Description
VLSrequestExt	Requests an authorization with support for License Manager hooking.
VLSrequestExt2	Supports capacity and non-capacity requests.
VLSreleaseExt	Releases an authorization with support for License Manager hooking.
VLSupdateExt	Updates the license with support for License Manager hooking.
VLSupdateExt2	Updates the license with support for License Manager hooking. Additionally, from RMS v9.5, supports up to 4,294,967,294 licenses for version 20 (or above).
VLSbatchUpdate	Updates several license codes at once.
VLScleanupIssuedKeys	Cleans up previous or existing session/license key on a License Manager
